TPS Adjustment:
|
The throttle position sensor is located on the right side of the carbs with an
electrical cap with three wires. You can click on any of the smaller images to enlarge
and get a better idea of where it is and what it looks like.

I think you might be able to get away with just removing the right side tank cover, I went
ahead and removed the entire upper cover assembly because I wanted to check a couple things
while I had the bike apart.

The factory specifications according to the
service manual says
that the proper setting is when the resistance of Ω2 is 76% of Ω1. You will need
a volt/ohmeter to test and adjust this setting.
