Trip to Moab, UT - March 2003

We took a short vacation trip to Moab, to do some hiking
and sight-seeing. The Arches Natl Park was full of hundreds
of awe-inspiring rock formations. Canyonlands National Park
preserves a colorful landscape of sedimentary sandstones
eroded into countless canyons, mesas and buttes by the
Colorado River and its tributaries. We got a good look at
the canyons from the Needles Overlook.
