As you can see I have changed the pixel width value from 2048 to 200. The height value changed
all on it's own. There is really nothing else to do now so I click "okay".
At this point you should notice that at the very top of XnView there is now an * in front of the
filename. This means that although the picture has been resized it has not been saved.
Your original file has not been modified.

You should now be looking at a screen that looks something like this:
Now you are ready to save the file in the new size so from the menu click on "File" then "Save As".
If you click on "Save" you will be warned that you are about to overwrite your original file, which
you may not want to do. "Save As" will let you save it as another file, which is what I recommend doing.
But, Before you do that, lets look at some options we can use...
